Oral Surgeon Jobs in Connecticut

To become an Oral Surgeon, one must possess certain qualifications and skills. An Oral Surgeon should have a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school, and complete a hospital-based oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, which typically lasts 4-6 years. They must also obtain a state license to practice dentistry and in some cases, they may need to be board certified.
