Hawaii Family Dental was founded by HMSA, the state’s largest health insurance company in 1986. Local entrepreneur and endodontist Dr. Gary Kondo purchased Hawaii Family Dental in 1999 and at the same time, Dr Kondo founded Hawaii’s largest discount dental program.

Today, our team of 300 dentists, hygienists, and support members, work hard to improve the quality of lives in our communities by treating each patient as if they were our own mom, dad, child, grandma, grandpa, or close friend. It is no surprise that we are the most referred dental group in Hawaii.

Our 11 locations have convenient weekday and weekend hours, free parking, and a team that truly wants what’s best for our patients.
