Job Description:
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Dental Assistant to join our team in East Norriton, PA. The ideal candidate will be X-Ray Certified, DANB Certified, and have experience with chairside assisting, dental prophylaxis, coronal polishing, temporary crowns, expanded functions, dentures, crowns, orthodontics, oral surgery, treatment planning, x-rays, patient satisfaction, patient charting, infection control, and sterilization. Long-term disability experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental prophylaxis, coronal polishing, and temporary crowns
- Provide expanded functions support
- Assist with dentures, crowns, orthodontics, and oral surgery
- Ensure patient satisfaction through excellent chairside manner
- Accurately maintain patient charting and treatment records
- Adhere to infection control and sterilization procedures
