Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Medical Lab Scientist

Shift : Nights / 9p-7:30a, 10x4, 40hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Every other weekend required along with 1 holiday should it fall within contract

Requirements:

• 1 year experience
• Specimen processing, ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID, Antibody Typing: Tub Method, Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG, Electronic Crossmatch, Indirect Coombs Test
• BLS
• ASCP-MLS or ACP-BB

Unit Information: Blood Bank performs routine and specialized compatibility testing as well as preparation of blood components for transfusion. Our Blood Bank lab supports the transfusion needs of a number of specialty services for both pediatric and adult patients.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
