The practice offers a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to crowns and bridges.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our practice’s daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of dental office management, and a commitment to providing excellent patient experiences. This role involves overseeing administrative staff, managing financial operations, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
• Supervise and support front desk staff, dental assistants, and administrative team members.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new employees.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement staff development plans.
Financial & Operational Management:
• Oversee patient billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor office budgets, expenses, and financial reports.
• Optimize scheduling to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
Patient Relations & Customer Service:
• Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
• Handle patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Implement strategies to improve patient retention and satisfaction.
Compliance & Office Organization:
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation.
• Oversee supply management and vendor relations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in dental office management preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, billing, and insurance processing.
• Customer Service: Ability to handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
